CTL has been approached by our local Tools for Self-Reliance group for help in providing haberdashery kits for Ghana. You will find all the details of what is required and how the kit will be used in the attached poster and we hope you will be able to help.
Please start collecting the required items at home from now, and once the restrictions are lifted, these can be handed in at your local church or taken to the United Reform church (first blue door on Quin Street) either as individual items or a full kit if you are able.
Your church will collect them and assemble into kit(s). We hope to arrange a special service, when the kits can be brought to Leyland URC, ready for collection by TFSR head office.
The TFSR group that operate in Leyland URC cellar, do awesome work in re-furbishing tools to send out to help folk earn a living and support their families. We thank them for their time and commitment. Let’s show our support for their work by responding to their request for help.
More details will follow, as we know the changes that will bring an end to the current lockdown. For now, just start collecting!
